ChilizNexus is transforming the way sports fans connect with their favorite clubs by creating a unified, decentralized platform that bridges the gap between fan clubs and their communities worldwide. Initially supporting top FanTokens of football clubs like FC Barcelona (BAR), Juventus (JUV), and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Firstly ChilizNexus serves as a comprehensive Event Management tool with a focus on fostering interaction, participation, and reward. The platform offers three distinct types of events to engage fans at different levels:
LIVE Events: These in-person events, hosted by club officials, offer tiered ticketing options such as Event Manager, VIP, and Attendee. Fans can attend exclusive meetups, game viewings, and club-related activities that strengthen their bond with the team.
VIRTUAL Events: Through a partnership with Decast.live, fans gain access to exclusive, NFT-gated virtual streams. These immersive online experiences allow supporters to participate in live-streamed events, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content, enriching the digital fan experience.
COMMUNITY Events: Fans can organize their own local events, such as watch parties, games, and competitions, bringing together like-minded supporters in their areas and enabling real-world engagement between fans.
All event tickets within the ChilizNexus ecosystem are issued as ERC1155 Soulbound Tokens (SBTs) via the NexusEventGate. These tokens are non-transferable, meaning they are permanently linked to a fan’s wallet, creating lasting, on-chain memories that serve as a testament to their involvement in various events.
ChilizNexus goes beyond traditional ticketing by enabling fans and event creators to securely share event details on social platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Farcaster, boosting visibility and engaging a wider audience. To ensure transparency and security, ChilizNexus leverages Sign Protocol to create verifiable attestations. Each attestation generates a unique attestationId, which serves as both the eventId and tokenId for the corresponding ERC721 Soulbound Token (SBT), minted via NexusEventHook. These attestations lay the groundwork for a decentralized event marketplace, ensuring that every event is fully on-chain, transparent, and verifiable.
Advanced Event Creation with NexusEventHook and Sign Protocol
To manage event creation and access control, ChilizNexus has developed a custom contract called NexusEventHook, which is deployed on the Base network. This contract helps as an Access Control layer for Event Schema. The attestation IDs generated for each event are seamlessly integrated into the NexusEventGate contract, deployed on the Chiliz blockchain, which manages all event-related activities.
Attestations plays a key role for eventIds, although Chiliz does not currently support Sign Protocol, the platform utilizes Base as an interim solution, with ongoing collaboration with the Sign Protocol team to integrate full Chiliz support in the future. So in future ChilizNexus makes seamless for fans to create attestations on Chiliz
TokenDrops and Social Engagement
A key feature of ChilizNexus is its TokenDrop mechanism, which allows both fans and third-party contributors to donate tokens to events hosted on both the Chiliz (via NexusEventGate) and Base (via NexusEventHook) networks. These tokens are distributed securely on-chain to event participants, further enhancing the fan experience through rewards, social engagement, and memorable interactions. This feature transforms ChilizNexus into more than just an event ticketing system—it creates an interactive, reward-based ecosystem that encourages active participation.
NexusToken: The Utility Token Powering ChilizNexus
At the heart of the platform is NexusToken, a versatile utility token built on the CAP223 standard. NexusToken enables fast, gas-efficient, and secure transfers without the risk of lost funds. Fans can mint NexusTokens by swapping their club-specific fan tokens(such as BAR, PSG, or JUV tokens) at a 1:1 ratio through the NexusBridge. For now NexusTokens empower fans by rewarding them for participation in a wide range of activities such as attending events, creating proposals, bettings, competitions, incentives, and even fun activities.
Additional Features: Subscriptions, Proposals, and Fan Interaction
ChilizNexus introduces a subscription model, allowing fans to subscribe to their favorite clubs to receive official updates and information faster than ever before. The platform also features a Proposal System, where fans can submit ideas and initiatives, which other fans can upvote or downvote. Proposals with significant community support can be reviewed and implemented by club officials.
To further enhance fan interaction, ChilizNexus offers group chat functionality, enabling fans to engage in real-time discussions, share opinions, and build stronger connections with other supporters within the club’s ecosystem.
Fan Vaults: Earning NexusTokens Through Staking and Farming
ChilizNexus introduces the concept of Fan Vaults, where users can stake their club-specific fan tokens as collateral to earn NexusTokens through staking and farming mechanisms. This creates new opportunities for fans to support their favorite clubs while earning additional rewards in the form of NexusTokens. Fan Vaults also help deepen the engagement between fans and clubs, as supporters are incentivized to remain active participants in the ecosystem.

Future Plans:

Proposal System: Fans with club tokens can submit proposals to improve club operations. Accepted proposals are rewarded with NexusTokens, encouraging deeper fan participation.
Subscriptions: Using XMTP, fans can subscribe to clubs, players, or officials for exclusive content. This strengthens club marketing and offers fans rewards via NexusTokens through Lit Protocol.
Engagement Activities: Fans can participate in betting, games, and competitions by staking NexusTokens, further boosting fan interaction and engagement.
Fan Engagement and Loyalty Programs: Implement a tiered rewards system where fans earn points for events, token holding, and activities. Points are redeemable for exclusive rewards. Offer ERC721 loyalty NFTs to unlock special benefits like voting rights.
